When I was a teenager,

I was a construction Kitteh!

I checked out the construction site:

I checked out all the work:

and I watched all the tools!

That was my summer job!

New Scratchie Post

I have a good ol' trusted scratchie post

The ball on the top is gone and

Dad has to keep tying the rope back on it

So I got a new scratchie post

Oooh, I love it so much...

I was borned outside

My new moms had to show me how to use it.

At least HIS tail will grow back.

As for the Hopper ..well, she's a really good bugger!

Flashback Friday

Almost a year ago today

My Moms and Dad got me a Pound Kitteh

This was Sandi's home at the Pound

for 3 months

before they adopted her for me

No one wanted the black kittehs

(there were signs telling the silly humans

that black cats were NOT bad luck)

Can you imagine that?!

So I tagged her as MINE...

...and then she got comfortable in her new home.

She was so young and pretty!

Happy (Pound) Independence Day Sandi Claws -

you've been home for a whole YEAR now!

Drama & Fireworks!

Who is this interloper?

He's a young boycat that just started sniffing around.

Moms calls him "Hawkfood" since he's so small.

Hawkfood keeps trying to come between me and my beautiful Black Kitteh -

but we'll have no part of it...

...we growl and sniff and snort and we kick him OUT.

Black Kitteh has been very verbal about not wanting Hawkfood around!

But then...

The Plant Lady next door just told us that

Black Kitteh and Hawkfood have been

CUDDLING UP TOGETHER

in her yard!!

I guess Black Kitteh is teaching Hawkfood everythiiing of the world,

like she did to me!

I think I'll call her Jezebel!

But I still love my Black Kitteh

Maybe it's the holiday...

Or maybe I'm just an "Independent Kitteh!"

Sandy says "Happy 4th of July!!"

She doesn't care about any of this drama because

she prefers to stay in the house and Hawkfood doesn't come into the house...

Uh oh...it looks like Hawkfood wants in now...
