Memorial Day

On this Memorial Day, I thought we should remember Junior (aka Oliver)

Things have sure changed without Junior Here.

 

 

 Jasper has reclaimed his

"Head of the Haus" status

Lookit' his smug mug!

He's carried on Junior's tradition of waking up Moms every morning at 5:30 a.m.

so we's can all get fed early.

Junior was so smart to train our Moms!

(Jasper was smart to keep it up)

Sandi has also been sadz

and is all over any tissue paper she can find!

She's been extra verbal about it and

super demanding of love and attention

since Junior has been gone.

We have some new pictures to share of Junior when he was known as Oliver:

 

 These pictures are from his odder Moms, who is also very sadz.

She said Ollie was always looking

for LOVE and when he found it, it was like he said,

"Please, can I have some more?"

So they called him Oliver.

So on this Memorial Day, we honor our lost love

Junior, aka Oliver, aka Ollie Cat.

You will not be forgotten!

And then there were 3

Just as quickly as he came into our lives,

he was taken away.

On Sunday, April 21^st, Junior was hit by a car.

He was only with us for 202 days, but he gave us years' worth of love.

First, he stole our hearts by showing us how cute he was:

Then he showed the other cats how to claim TWO cat bowls at once:

He claimed all the cat scratchers in the house:

And he nuzzled us with this face:

He let me decorate him for Halloween:

And he snoopervised Christmas:

He played well with others:

And he slept a lot:

He helped with Easter decorating:

And general redecorating around the house:

He LOVED playing with his toys:

And was generally the life of the party:

He preferred human contact to other kittehs

And could often be found on a lap or a knee:

We don't have pictures of him touching our face, which he did all the time.

Or snuggling up so close in the morning he *was* the pillow.

Thank you Junior for moving in and giving us the most precious
202 days ever.

He was my love monster and I miss him so much!

(I hung like this for AN HOUR!!!)

I hiiiiighly recommend hanging out on a knee!
