Just as quickly as he came into our lives,
he was taken away.
On Sunday, April 21st, Junior was hit by a car.
He was only with us for 202 days, but he gave us years' worth of love.
Below is a recap of his time with us
First, he stole our hearts by showing us how cute he was:
Then he showed the other cats how to claim TWO cat bowls at once:
He claimed all the cat scratchers in the house:
And he nuzzled us with this face:
He let me decorate him for Halloween:
And he snoopervised Christmas:
He played well with others:
And he slept a lot:
He helped with Easter decorating:
And general redecorating around the house:
He LOVED playing with his toys:
And was generally the life of the party:
He preferred human contact to other kittehs
And could often be found on a lap or a knee:
Two of the last photos ever taken of him:
Explorer Kitteh
and Gleefully being where he shouldn't be:
We don't have pictures of him touching our face, which he did all the time.
Or snuggling up so close in the morning he *was* the pillow.
Here's a picture from his prior home, looking very handsome:
202 days ever.
He was my love monster and I miss him so much!
Oh dear, we are so very sorry to hear about Junior. What a lovely tribute. It is very hard to lose a very good kitteh. Junior was lucky to have found you, and you were lucky to have him, however briefly. Kitteh tears are shed for Junior.

Junior packed a lot of life into the short time he was with you. We know you treasure all the memories you made with him. We are so very sorry for your loss.
ReplyDeleteHe was always an explorer kitteh and "discovering" you was a great adventure! First as "Imposter Kitteh" then "Junior" and always "Anchor Kitteh" he waltzed in and showed you what it felt like to open your heart to him. So sad he's not here now - but I'm thinking he's just found another place to explore :)
